Does DragonVista track individual pages or entire websites? Both. Unlike other services, DragonVista gives you the power to track entire websites or specific pages within a site. You tell us the content that is most important to you, and we take care of the rest. Is DragonVista hard to use? DragonVista is designed to make your life easier. With DragonVista, we do the tedious work. So you have time to THINK. If you can use a web browser and PowerPoint, you can use DragonVista on your first day. How long does it take to set up DragonVista? Typically it takes about 5 minutes for you to tell us what you want tracked. Then DragonVista can be set up the same day in most cases, not weeks or months like some of the setup and integration process associated with other services. Setup time does vary, depending on the content you'd like to track. How often is my information updated? DragonVista automatically captures the sites you are tracking every 24 hours and provides you with reports at daily, weekly or monthly depending on the subscription plan you choose. We can also configure DragonVista to analyze websites more or less frequently, to meet your specific needs. Our most commonly purchased product is weekly monitoring. Is DragonVista a service or something I need to download? DragonVista is a “software-as-a-service” company. DragonVista’s archive is accessed through a password-protected, web-based tool – there's nothing to download. How far back does the archive go? We don't place a limit on how far back in time you can go with the archive. We began capturing larger sites (most Internet Retailer 500 sites) in October 2006. If you have asked us to track a site that we previously did not track, then the archive starts the day your contract starts. Do I have any flexibility in what individual users see? I'm at a large company, and I'd like to see all of our brands, but individual brand managers only want to see competitors for their brands. Yes. We provide the capability for larger companies to have an administrative user that sees all brands, and can configure DragonVista for individual brand managers so that they only see their brands. Anyone at your company is able to see the full list of companies you have paid to track. However, if they choose to view fewer companies they can de-select the companies they are not interested in.
